Enchanting Kerala -Cherai - Kodanad & Athirapilly – Munnar – Periyar- Kumarakom - Cochin 7 NIGHTS AND 8 DAYS
 
Day-01 - Cherai
Arrive at Cochin International Airport / Railway station - you will be transferred to Cherai (30 Kms). Cherai is sheer eye candy! It is a delectable combination of green paddy fields, coconut palms, backwaters and of course, the omnipresent Arabian Sea. What makes Cherai Beach distinct from other beach hideaways is its unique ambience – its very air spells harmony and balance. Rest of the day is at leisure. laze on the beach, go for swim. Evening shopping, Backwater cruise. overnight at Hotel.
Day: 02: Kodanad - Athirapilly
Kodanad is a training centre of captive elephants. Athirappilly 800 ft high water falls at the threshold of the Sholayar ranges is a popular picnic spot. Just a short drive from Athirappilly, Vazhachal, this picturesque waterfalls is close to dense green forest. Over night at hotel.
Day: 03: Cherai - Munnar
In the morning, proceed to Munnar, the highest hill station in Kerala at an attitude of 1525 mts. With enchanting high lakes and lovely view of mist - filled valleys, amidst an unending expanse of tea plantation. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and over night at Hotel.
Day: 04: Munnar
Start the full day sightseeing trip of Munnar which is a nature lover's paradise. Visit - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary famous for Nilgiris Tahr and Tea gardens. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day: 05: Periyar (Thekkady)
After breakfast check out from Munnar hotel and transfer to Thekkady with sight seeing on the way! Check in to hotel. After noon visit to spice plantation. Evening boat safari in lake Periyar.The lake is spread over an area of 777 sq km. It is surrounded by an artificial man made lake. Boating through this lake provides a rare opportunity to watch elephant and other wild animals. Periyar wild life sanctuary and Tiger Reserve, the sanctuary. Over night at hotel
Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom (Houseboat)
After breakfast drive from Thekkady to Kumarakom and board on houseboat. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
Day 07: Kumarakom - Cochin
At 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer to Cochin check in at hotel. After noon sight seeing / St. Francis Church, the oldest church in India built in 1503 AD, Dutch palace (Mattancherry Palace) built by the Portugues and renovated by the Dutch with its coronation hall decorated with spectacular murals, chinese fishing net, Jewish synagogue built in 1568,( This is oldest synagogue in the commonweath), Jewtown centre of spice trade and curio shops / Evening Kadhakali show / over night at resort.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast depart for your onward destination or Cochin International Airport End of Tour
